Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training Courses
Two-year teacher training courses leading to a Introductory Teaching
Certificate (internationally recognised Iyengar qualification) are
regularly run in Dublin. It is necessary to have attended regular
classes with an Iyengar Yoga teacher for three years to be eligible for

The
Yoga Therapy and training Centre (YTTC)
The Yoga Therapy & Training Centre was founded by
Marie Quail in 1995. The head office is based in Cabra, Newry, Co. Down
and has three other centres which are located in Dublin, L`Derry and
Lisburn.
With a reputation for excellence in Yoga Teacher and Therapy Training,
courses are available at all four locations plus Ardee and Cork. The
Teacher Training Course is delivered within a two year period on a part
time basis while the Yoga Therapy Course is delivered in modules
currently available in Dublin and L’Derry

The
Irish Yoga Association Course
The Irish Yoga Association runs a part time four year
teacher training diploma course based in Dublin. Course starts every
September (apply to the IYA in writing before the end of May,
applicants must have been studying yoga for at least two years).
The syllabus includes Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Relaxation
Techniques, Philosophy, Anatomy & Physiology, First Aid and
Psychology. This course is recognised by the European Union of Yoga.

Clonlea
yoga studio
Clonlea Yoga Studio teacher training course is based on
the
Viniyoga of Yoga. The course consists of 500 contact hours
over
3 years. Introductory Course 2 day's workshop, and Foundation Course 5
weekends are a prerequisite for the 3 years teacher training
course. The teacher training course is accredited with the
British Wheel of Yoga.

Yoga teacher trainig with Godfrey Devereux
This 215 hour course been developed over 20 years by
internationally recognised teacher Godfrey Devereux to provide a safe
and relevant grounding in the dynamics of teaching Astanga Vinyasa
Flow. The Dublin-based training is in two parts: foundation and weekend
intensives covering 125 postural, 10 breathing and 7 meditation
techniques as well as the 7 bandhas and philosophy/psychology.
